I’ll focus in this blog on Product Management, Development Practices and Internet of Things because they are my passion but I’ve added an Interests section to spice it up a little…

Product Management – Many areas of product management are poorly covered because of pressures for time to market “just get it launched” mindsets. Mostly what I think is lacking is a true Voice of the Customer be that in the market requirements, beta programs, launch activities or customer support – you must keep the customer focus for success.

Development Practices – I’m a big proponent of Agile development processes and good project management, but fast iteration and customer input are the key to successful projects. Sometimes fitting Agile development into larger device projects (aka Hardware) is not understood by management, but even in the strictest waterfall practices, you can apply iteration. Let’s talk.

Internet of Things – I’ve found many people confused by the hype around the Internet of Things, and around how it all comes together. Not to fear! It’s a bit of circuitry, some silicon but mostly “it’s just software”…

I intend to publish blog entries and mostly videos about how it all gets put together and programming in many different environments for the different devices in the IoT world.
